Wheatbelt Baseball League

What a beautiful day on Sunday. Team East beat Team West 12 - 6. Winning pitcher was Byryn Murphy from the Grande Prairie Brewers. In the Skills Contest, Elliot Holthe of the Rycroft Rage defended his running title winning all three heats from home to 1st, home to 2nd and home to 3rd. Kyle Smith of the Grimshaw Huskies won the pitching contest which included both speed and accuracy. Kyle was the only pitcher to put 2 of 5 pitches through the target. And in the hitting contest, Jay Tighe of the Fort St. John Black Sox scored 7 points to take home the prize. A huge thanks goes out to the event sponsor, OT Sports Excellence of Peace River.
